"As the pandemic began, Baubau started as a new business venture, but it quickly became a personal journey. Working closely with pets and community animals rekindled my love for them—especially those on the streets. This path also introduced me to cats, and before I knew it, I became a proud pet parent to four cats and a dog. They are now an integral part of my home, and it is truly difficult to imagine life without them."

Meet the founder

Anthony is a producer, writer, and entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience across Mumbai’s creative and corporate sectors. His portfolio includes writing full-length plays and developing digital content for various platforms, alongside numerous credits as a producer for theatre and film.

Notable highlights include serving as Executive Producer for the Oscar-eligible short film Shameless (2018) and the Indo-Spanish production Buena Suerte 13 (2025).

Beyond his film and media work, he has a diverse background in petrochemical marketing, arts-based social initiatives for marginalized youth, and community art curation. Currently, he is focused on the growth of specialized digital platforms, managing operations for brands like Baubau Pet Services in the animal health and pet care sector.
